We are proud to announce that one more year, Tripadvisor has awarded Catamaran Adventures San Blas with a Traveler’s Choice Award 2022. We are thrilled to receive such recognition for our hard work.
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site and review-sharing platform.
As years go by, we refine our ways and set standards of what a yacht charter in the San Blas islands should be like. It is not easy to maneuver in this specific region of the planet where there are no marinas, no repair facilities, no good gas/diesel, no water, and almost no provisions.
Why do you think Moorings, Sunsail, Dream Yacht Charter and Navigari, the biggest of all Yacht charter agencies are not present in San Blas? the reason is clear, even though San Blas is the most amazing and unique part of the Caribbean, it is extremely hard to setup operations because there is almost no infrastructure to support it. San Blas is not the place for large operations, only small charters done with love, and understanding of both the Gunas and the amazing, yet fragile natural ecosystem
At times we make mistakes, we do, but we firmly believe that at the end what really matter is how you handle the problem. Most of the issues encountered are basically derived from the unreliable and poor infrastructure and for example the weather which at times can cause delays in the transfers. Guests that encounter issues are most likely quick to visit Trip Advisor and post their negative comment. We believe that guests with the bad experiences are definitely entitled to review our services negatively but just so that you know, only around 3% of our satisfied customers post their reviews. Over the years we have had a couple of thousand happy customers that have not given any public feedback. We also totally understand and respect their position.
We love hearing from our guests it inspires us and gives us the energy to continue being the best yacht charter company in San Blas.
